Todor Tsachev

“My name is Todor Tsachev and I graduated the “Lyubomir Pipkov” National School of Musicand “prof. Pancho Vladigerov” National Music Academy. Till 2011 I worked in the Big Band of the Bulgarian National Radio, but retreated to have time for the project I had in my mind. I hope to promote in Bulgaria one of the best traditions of American schools. I took not an easy task to create a School Marching Band by American model in Zlatitsa Municipality. During my stay in the United States participating Student Work and Travel program, I have watched mass events with school and college marching bands and I was extremely impressed. Realizing the huge potential of such a project, I began to explore the possibilities and ways of its realization in Bulgaria. It turned out that this format of school band does not exist here and in the realization of this idea I will meet many difficulties. “

Ivaila Tsacheva

Till 2011 Ivaila Tsacheva is one of the leading young pianists in Bulgaria. 
In the period 2000-2011 she performed many solo concerts in Bulgaria, Austria, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Serbia and Romania. Her repertoire present some of the greatest masterpieces of music, including Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky, Fantasy in C Major by Robert Schumann, Grieg‘s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, Fourth Concerto for Piano and Orchestra by Beethoven, many popular works of Chopin and many others great composers.

A change of focus led Ivaila Tsacheva to the project Marching Stars and with her husband Todor Tsachev start to realize it.
