Marching Stars Marching Band was founded by Todor Tsachev in the summer of 2011. It is a result of his long time efforts to establish a school band based on the American traditions.

Marching Stars is a representative School Marching Band at Zlatitza Municipality and St. Paisiy Hilendarski School of Zlatitza. Since the beginning of 2012 Marching Stars began to participate actively in the celebrations of various national and local holidays, giving them a unique solemnity. After many prestigious events, Marching Stars gained popularity and nationwide reputation as a unique project in Bulgaria. The main purpose of the band is to develop a sense of responsibility, teamwork and self-discipline. The band consists 30 musicians. 30 other children are participating in the learning process and will join the orchestra. 20 cheerleaders and color guards are merging its power with the band.

Todor Tsachev educates all 80 children and manages all the organizational activities. Due to the great desire for participation of children from the region, Marching Stars is actively seeking support for two more teachers.

The NGO Junior Activity Association was founded to support the project. Marching stars are deeply grateful to America for Bulgaria Foundation. Their support is crucial to the development of the band.
